How to Set Up a Linode Nanode with Ubuntu

Step 1: Log In to Your Linode Account

Access the Linode dashboard by logging in with your credentials at the Linode login page.

Step 2: Create a New Linode

Click on the "Create" button in the dashboard, and select "Linode" from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Choose the Ubuntu Image

Select "Ubuntu" as the operating system and choose the latest available version of the image.

Step 4: Select the Linode Plan

Choose "Nanode" as your Linode plan which is suitable for low to medium traffic applications or development and testing.

Step 5: Choose a Data Center Region

Select a region that is geographically closest to you or your customers to minimize latency.

Step 6: Set Root Password

Enter a strong password for the root account of your Linode. This account has full administrative access, so ensure the password is secure.

Step 7: Optional Configurations

Add any SSH keys for passwordless login, configure backups, or tweak any other settings as required.

Step 8: Deploy Your Linode

Click the "Create" button at the bottom of the form to start the deployment of your new Linode. This process might take a few minutes.
